What is YFN?
Youth for the Nations is a summer camp for students 6th-12th grade, held on campus at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX on July 12th-16th. This is the summer camp and bible school Pastor Brady went to before coming to The Woodlands to help launch Vibrant. The conference will include impactful worship and teaching from well-known speakers from all over the country. While on-campus housing is not offered to the public for YFN this summer, we were able to pull some strings and we’ll be one of the only churches staying on campus. This is bringing down the cost for your student(s) significantly.
What is YFN all about?
YFN has been equipping this generation to spread the gospel throughout the world for 30 years. On the first day of camp, students are divided up into different “nations” for the week. They compete in games throughout the week, but also take time to learn about, and pray for that country they are representing. It’s not uncommon for students to grow up with a heart for their nation from YFN and take mission trips to that country.

How Much Does YFN Cost?
It is only $250 to go to YFN. This includes the cost of the conference, lodging, transportation, and all meals. There will be fundraising opportunities to help raise money for individuals and keep the overall cost down. A $50 deposit is due Sunday, March 28th.
What About Safety and Medication?
With COVID-19 changing the world we live in, YFN is taking extra precautions to keep everyone safe. Masks will be required when moving around in indoor facilities (excluding dorms). Temperature checks are taken before every service, and anyone with a fever will be asked to watch the service with a leader in the dorm room.
CFNI has a full-time security staff to make sure everyone on campus is supposed to be there. Safety is the number one priority at YFN.
For any students bringing medication including but not limited too, inhalers, anything in pill form or epinephrine pens we ask that it be labeled and put in a ziplock bag that will be kept with our leaders. Please include how and when you would like the medication to be given to your child on a note placed in the bag with the medication. This ensures the safety of our students as well as proper handling and distribution.
